Instruction for maintenance

- The instrument should always be stored in the case at room temperature. If it was exposed to lower temperature, please bring it back to room temperature before use. Press as much treble and bass buttons as possible and set the bellow going repeatly. This guarantees that the atmospheric moisture, which precipitated at the reed plates, is brought out and therefore rust formation at the reed plates is prevented.
- The right playing bearing depends on the corrctly adjusted strap lenght: the longer strap must lie over the player´s right shoulder, so that the keyboard is vertical to the middle of the face.
- Sharp-edged objects at the clothing e.g. buckles, brooches or big buttons can lead to wearing out of the bellow or the casing.
- Vibration can cause mechanical malfunction! The registers are partuculary sensitive (greatest possible caution with chin registers if existing) . Avoid simultaneous pushing down of several register keys!
- Heat influence can also damage! Never expose the instrument to direkt and strong sunlight or heating systems. The closed trunk of a car is very dangerous in summer: As temperatures of 70 degrees are not rare in there, your accordion can be influenced negatively.
- High humidity of the air fog, rain or in damp rooms can cause grave damages e.g. mistuning, faults in the varius wooden parts, swelling of the bellow etc.
- Clean the keyboard and casing with a soft, dry and fluff-free cloth. Do not open the instrument.

Dear music-lover!
Herewith you posess a mechanically high complicated instrument, manufactered with smallest tolerance range. You cannot always exclude slight changes caused by the transport which can have distinct consequences: Invisible dust particles untied during transport, can for example block a tone completely. If you discover such malfunktion when you first play your instrument
